A drying coat using our revolutionary AQUAFIBRE ® – is really lightweight – so absorbent we need only one layer instead of multiple layers of towelling – so is great for use on the go. Do not confuse this outstandingly effective and practical drying coat with expensive towelling coats – we stopped using towelling years ago as Aquafibre® out-performs towelling in all respects.
DRY YOUR DOG
WARM YOUR DOG
LIGHTWEIGHT & SUPER ABSORBENT AQUAFIBRE®
Our Aquafibre® drying coat was originally designed for use with gun dogs so needed to be not only fast and efficient, but also light enough to be carried and must also warm a dog straight from the river. A lot of drying coats need 2 or even 3 layers making them very heavy for the dog and also meaning that they take a long time to dry. Our AQUAFIBRE® coat is so absorbent that it requires only one layer. Using the dog’s own body heat AQUAFIBRE® is ideal for gun dogs or those fresh from the hydrotherapy pool.
The sides of the coat are long enough to tuck under your dog before securing the hook and loop strap and so the dog’s undercarriage will be dried and not just his back.
Machine wash at 40C. Always ensure when washing that the hook and loop fastenings (velcro style) are fastened together.
Air dry or hang over radiator. All our aquafibre products dry exceptionally quickly.
The Chiller Chien Cool Coat ( a variation in design on our Chiller Cooling Coat) is made of a material especially designed to hold water without wetting your dog. So while the dog stays dry and odour free, the Chiller Chien transfers heat away from the dog keeping him cool and comfortable in the hot sunshine. Whether lazing in the garden, travelling in the car or racing about in the mid-day sun, your dog will stay cool and refreshed.
Agility dog? Hot muggy night? - (it’s comfortable enough for your dog to sleep in it.) Competition or pet dog -use your Chiller Chien whenever you need to keep your best friend cool. The Chiller Chien was designed for comfort. It will not restrict movement (we’ve tested it over agility courses) and will not move and slide from your dog’s back.
Built to last!
Before fitting the Chiller Chien coat simply soak it in a bowl of water, then wring out the excess water, leaving plenty of water in it but without it dripping.
Measure from base of neck to start of tail.
Back length of coat is as follows:
Size XS - 30cm (12")
Size S - 40cm (16")
Size M - 50cm (20")
Size L - 60cm (24")
If you have purchased our Aquamat Chiller previously please note this Chien design coat runs slightly larger and so, for example, each size will fit dogs comfortably up to 5 cms longer than the given back length of the coat.

A cooling coat, unlike a drying coat or a raincoat, does not need to cover the full length of your dog’s back to fulfil its function. The position of the coat should be pleasing to the eye, but the effective cooling of your dog will be achieved with as little as 50% coverage.
Therefore, buy a back length to cover most of your dog’s back so that it will be pleasing aesthetically. If your dog fits a standard design coat, then choosing the correct back length will give you the correct front and girth straps - we use hook & loop technology to offer considerable adjustment in any one size.
If you have a dog that will not always fit into standard shaped coats -such as a bulldog, pug or greyhound - then email us with back length, girth strap length (as per diagram above - it is not around deepest part of chest) and breed and we will help to ensure a good fit for your dog.
Our storm coat is great for the winter months to keep your dog super dry and warm as well!
Our sizing is measured by back length, so from the bottom of the neck to the base of the tail. On the smaller coats up to and including 45cms the front and girth straps fasten with velcro with lots of adjustability. The larger coats fasten with velcro across the chest but have a cross surcingle fastening on the girth. The coat also has leg straps to ensure it stays nice and secure when out walking your dog.
back length sizes:
30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65 & 70 cms
